Welcome to Nanyuki! After your arrival, transfer to your cozy lodge or hotel for a restful afternoon. Later, immerse yourself in the vibrant local markets, filled with fresh produce, crafts, and vibrant colors. Experience authentic Kenyan cuisine like Nyama Choma (roast meat) and Mukimo (mashed potatoes with vegetables). Visit the Equator line and witness the fascinating Coriolis effect, where a local guide will demonstrate how water spins in opposite directions in each hemisphere.

Day 2: Nanyuki Exploration
Begin your day by discovering the rich cultural tapestry of Nanyuki. Visit a local Maasai or Kikuyu community and engage in cultural exchanges, traditional dances, and storytelling. Next, head to the Nanyuki Spinners and Weavers, a women’s cooperative, to learn traditional weaving techniques and support their crafts. Conclude your day with a visit to the Equator marker for a certificate and a memorable photo opportunity.

Day 3-4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Wildlife Adventures

Day 3:
After breakfast, transfer to the renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya's leading wildlife sanctuaries. Embark on an afternoon game drive where you’ll have the chance to spot the "Big Five" – lions, elephants, buffalo, and more. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see these incredible primates, rescued from the illegal pet and bushmeat trade. End your day with a sundowner at a scenic location within the conservancy.

Day 4:
Rise early for a morning game drive, increasing your chances of seeing predators like lions and leopards in action. Later, visit the Rhino Sanctuary to see the last two northern white rhinos and learn about crucial conservation efforts. After a relaxing lunch at Morani's Restaurant, enjoy an optional night game drive to witness nocturnal wildlife, offering a whole new perspective on the African savanna.

Day 5-7: Mount Kenya National Park - Conquer the Peaks

Day 5:
Head to Mount Kenya National Park and begin your trek from Sirimon Gate. Your hike takes you through the montane forests rich with wildlife, including colobus monkeys and a variety of bird species. After a rewarding day of hiking, you’ll reach Old Moses Camp for your overnight stay, where a hearty dinner awaits you.

Day 6:
Continue your ascent through breathtaking moorlands and alpine vegetation toward Shipton's Camp. Along the way, enjoy the stunning views of Mackinder Valley. Keep an eye out for rock hyraxes and unique alpine plants. After a full day of hiking, settle in at Shipton’s Camp for the night as the temperatures drop at this higher altitude.

Day 7:
Summit Day! Begin early to reach Point Lenana, the third-highest peak of Mount Kenya, in time for the sunrise. Enjoy the sweeping views of the surrounding peaks and plains as the sun rises, marking your incredible achievement. After savoring the moment, descend back to Shipton’s Camp and further down the mountain, where you’ll spend your final night in lower-altitude camps.
