Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be greeted by a Muzure Travel representative. Transfer to your comfortable hotel, Emara Ole-Sereni, Nairobi, and enjoy some rest. In the afternoon, visit the famous Giraffe Centre where you’ll have the opportunity to interact with endangered Rothschild giraffes while learning about their conservation. Afterward, savor a welcome dinner before settling in for the night.

Day 2-3: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Day 2: After breakfast, journey to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve, known for its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. Arrive in time for lunch at your safari lodge the Mara Maisha Camp or equivalent, followed by your first afternoon game drive. Spot members of the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos—as well as many other species. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Spend a full day exploring Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. If visiting between July and October, witness the Great Migration as wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning savannah as you continue your wildlife viewing, searching for predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its vibrant pink flocks of flamingos. Enjoy a scenic drive to the park, arriving in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge or equivalent . In the afternoon, embark on a game drive, spotting white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, and leopards. Marvel at the breathtaking sight of thousands of flamingos lining the lake. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5-6: Amboseli National Park

Day 5: After breakfast, head to Amboseli National Park, nestled at the foot of Africa’s tallest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp or equivalent in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park, known for its large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, and an array of birdlife. Capture incredible photos of the wildlife with the snow-capped Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Spend a full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit Observation Hill for sweeping views of the park’s plains, swamps, and wildlife. Engage with the local Maasai community, experiencing their traditional dances and visiting a Maasai village to learn about their culture and way of life. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Return to Nairobi and Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Amboseli before making your way back to Nairobi. Enjoy lunch en route and, upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll have some leisure time for souvenir shopping or optional visits to the Karen Blixen Museum or the Nairobi National Museum. In the evening, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure.
